What you should know about the inner angle double nipple
The internal angle double nipple is used as part of the egger system for surface heating or surface cooling:
The nipple of the inner angle double nipple has an outer diameter of 12 mm, this corresponds to the inner diameter of the 16 mm pipe and the egger register. You can join these mating parts with a socket welder and the egger welding attachment 12 mm with a plastic weld.
Use the inner angle double nipple if you need particularly low installation heights. Since the nipples embed in the mating part, they do not increase the body height. With internal angles, construction heights of 20 mm are thus possible. As soon as installation heights of 24 mm are feasible, we recommend preferring the outer angle to the inner angle in order to keep the resistance in the system as low as possible.
It is used when the course of the system has a 90 degree angle or the bending radius (12 cm) of the 16 tube is not sufficient. In practice, this happens when changing the pipe routing from floor to wall, wall to ceiling, narrow places such as doors or connections from the 16 pipe to the egger register.
To make the flow as low resistance as possible with a 90 degree course, we recommend you the following prioritization:

Thanks to its high strength and resistance to internal pressure and high temperatures, it is used mainly in drinking water and heating installations. In addition, the fabric can be easily processed into fittings or pipes. The individual parts can be joined together by plastic welding.The inner angle double nipple is made of PP-R. This is a high-quality material from the group of polyolefin thermoplastics. This material is 100% recyclable and is even used in the food industry.
The color of the inner angle double nipple is called “natural”. This makes the plastic slightly “transparent”, thanks to the lack of dye there is no interference during welding.
You can use any commercially available socket welder for this purpose. However, the egger welding attachments are required. The matching egger welding attachments can also be ordered or included in the complete plastic welding set.

The inner angle double nipple according to the manufacturer has a heat resistance up to 96 degrees. However, this varies depending on the system pressure. However, for tempering you need a maximum of 25-30 degrees of warm water.
The density or DIN value of the material is DIN 4726/8077/8078. In the laboratory, a service life of 150 years was calculated under extreme continuous load (10 bar and 60 °C). That’s why when you buy the egger system, you also get a 20-year warranty.

We needed a bit of practice when welding the egger registers - after all, no master has fallen from the sky yet. We got the hang of it pretty quickly. My tip: Ideally, there should be two of you when welding!
In our house we have installed the registers almost exclusively as wall heating. At least one exterior wall and, depending on the use of the room, other wall surfaces. The registers were then plastered with clay plaster, an ideal combination! In the bathroom we have additionally laid egger registers in the floor, who likes cold tiles after showering.
