Wall heaters are energy-saving surface heaters. That is, they do not heat the air, but wall surfaces. These wall surfaces then give off heat to the room primarily via radiation.

This radiant heat provides a particularly pleasant indoor climate – a real feel-good climate. And since from now on the walls are heated, harmful mold on the walls has no chance.

However, wall heaters offer not only a feel-good advantage, they are also invisible and suitable for both normal walls and sloping ceilings.

How is egger wall heating set up?

The egger system can basically always be implemented in wet construction, but also in dry construction. That is, either the registers are laid in the plaster or placed on an existing wall in drywall and leveled with lathing for sheetrock walls or wooden formwork.

The egger system is possible with any type of plaster (plaster, lime, cement, clay, clay)!

Structure wet:

  • Can be implemented in the plaster from as little as 20 mm height
  • no mechanical pressure on plaster, as no pipe bending is required
  • any type of plaster is possible (gypsum, lime, cement, clay, loam), because there is no thermal stress
  • even “curved” walls and roof slopes are easily possible

Structure dry:

  • Structure has a thickness of about 3-4 cm. egger registers are mounted on wall with counter battens (18 mm thickness) and covered with wood paneling, plasterboard or gypsum fiberboard.
  • No mechanical pressure on dry-build elements, as no pipe bending is required
  • No thermal pressure for dry-build elements, as flow and return temperatures are almost identical
