Underfloor heating has long become a standard in modern apartments and houses. The advantage is: they are more pleasant, have faster response times and, above all, are more energy efficient than classic radiators.

There are about 20 percent less energy costs during operation and the purchase is no longer more expensive than with radiators.

Thanks to egger system: Even more effective, even more economical

However, underfloor heating with the egger feel-good climate now represents the next generation of panel heating on the floor.

Thanks to a parallel instead of serial line system, the material can be saved and conserved, and energy costs can be reduced by another 10 percent. The initial costs are not higher than for conventional floor heating systems.

For more information on energy efficiency, we have compared the heating systems.

More details about how the egger system works can be found in the menu item the egger system.

The egger system can basically always be implemented in wet construction and also in dry construction. That is, either the registers are laid in the screed or laid on an existing floor. After that, cushion wood for the topsoil is laid between the register pipes and, if desired, completed with a fill (eg, fine sand).

The egger system is possible with any parquet floor and any other floor type!

Structure wet:

  • Can be implemented in the screed (without top floor) from as little as 20 mm height
  • no mechanical pressure on screed and/or floor, as no pipe bending is necessary
  • No thermal load for floor, since flow and return temperature are almost identical

Structure dry:

  • possible from 18 mm installation height (without top floor)
  • egger system is simply placed on existing floor
  • no mechanical pressure on soil, as no pipe bending is necessary
  • No thermal pressure for floor, since flow and return temperature are almost identical
