The parallel water flow of egger registers depends conventional wall heaters (serial heating hose) in operating costs and uniform heat distribution. The wall heating set 25 m² – basic contains egger registers and pipes covering a heating surface of 25 m², in addition, supply and return pipes with compression fittings for connection to the heating circuit manifold are included. In the egger system, the components are joined together with a plastic weld. Unlike push-fit or press connections, welding unites the system parts – permanently and tightly.
For plastic welding, you need a standard socket welder and welding attachments with 10 mm, 12 mm and 16 mm. For cutting of system parts we recommend to use a pipe cutter, thanks to the point cut straight cut surfaces are created without crushing. You can buy or rent a complete plastic welding set directly from our store or alternatively order the wall heating set 25 m² – with tools .

The egger register is made of polypropylene (PP-R). This is a high-quality material from the group of polyolefin thermoplastics. This material is 100% recyclable and is even used in the food industry.
Thanks to its high strength and resistance to internal pressure and high temperatures, it is used mainly in drinking water and heating installations. In addition, the fabric can be ideally processed into pipes or fittings.
The individual parts can be joined together by plastic welding. The plastic is slightly “transparent”, thanks to the lack of dye there is no interference with welding.
According to the manufacturer, the plastic registers have a heat resistance of up to 96 degrees. However, this varies depending on the system pressure. However, for tempering you need a maximum of 25-30 degrees of warm water.
The density or DIN value of the material is DIN 4726/8077/8078. In the laboratory, a service life of 150 years was calculated under extreme continuous load (10 bar and 60 °C). That’s why when you buy the egger system, you also get a 20-year warranty.

The egger system is not only intended for heating and cooling at home: it can be used for offices, as a hall heater, workshop heater or even greenhouse heater.
A great advantage of egger registers: they are suitable for any heat source (gas, oil, solar, district heating, photovoltaic,…) and any surface (tile, PVC, laminate, parquet, wood, …).

We needed a bit of practice when welding the egger registers - after all, no master has fallen from the sky yet. We got the hang of it pretty quickly. My tip: Ideally, there should be two of you when welding!
In our house we have installed the registers almost exclusively as wall heating. At least one exterior wall and, depending on the use of the room, other wall surfaces. The registers were then plastered with clay plaster, an ideal combination! In the bathroom we have additionally laid egger registers in the floor, who likes cold tiles after showering.
