Reference: Italian hotel with egger feel-good climate!

In the homonymous capital of the province of Lucca, located in the heart of Tuscany, a small hotel is currently being built.

The property, which is more than 200 years old, is being completely renovated. The special feature is that the frescoes (wall paintings), which are over 150 years old, are preserved and thus the charm of the building is not lost.

Guests are welcome in winter & summer – because it is heated & cooled!

The small B&B hotel will be equipped with the egger system so that it can be heated in winter and cooled in summer. For the hotel this is a huge advantage, because it could kill two birds with one stone and it does not have to do without its guests in one season.

In total, the building extends over 3 floors, where guest rooms, common areas and a tavern will be created. Above it will be built an additional private apartment. The total floor area is 1000 m².

We are happy about this order and also about the fact that the owner can solve many of his small challenges with the egger system.

It should be a pleasant feel-good climate – all year round!

In summer, the surface system is used for cooling and in winter it is used for heating. After the system was first installed on the walls, it is now just the turn of the floor. The renovation work will soon be completed and then the charming and historic hotel may welcome its first guests.

The egger employees already like the property very much. One of them reports: “Compared to the weather conditions in Austria, sunny Italy is a very nice change right now. We always enjoy coming to this construction project – and not just because of the weather.”
