The Internet reveals many tips when it comes to saving a few cents on your heating and cooling bills. In this article, we will tell you why you can save not only a little, but a lot of money with the egger system.

Reason 1: The egge system is a heating and cooling system at the same time!

The egger surface system can heat as well as cool. What provides a pleasant feel-good climate in the summer, equally provides a pleasant feel-good climate in the winter.

Surface heating works on the same principle as surface cooling. Between winter and summer, only the system temperatures change by a few degrees Celsius. Using an appropriate heat pump (or alternatives), the temperature can be cooled or heated by a few degrees.

Compared to conventional air conditioners, surface cooling provides healthy cooling. The principle works, just as with heating, via radiation. This way you won’t expose yourself to the cool and unhealthy convection of the air conditioner.

Additional benefit: The air conditioner requires almost no energy costs

There is also the possibility, for example, under the basement to install a so-called cold generation area. Thus, the energy can be obtained almost free of charge.

You have a system that is multifunctional and saves you the costly purchase of an air conditioner!

Reason 2: The egger system is a low temperature system!

The egger panel heating system is a low temperature system due to its low energy consumption.

Compared to radiators, surface heating systems use larger surfaces for heat transfer. The desired room temperature can be achieved with lower surface temperatures. Accordingly, the flow temperature is also set relatively low.

You save on energy costs and at the same time enable the use of renewable energy. This is because they can work more efficiently at low temperatures.

Reason 3: The egger system is even more energy efficient due to the parallel pipe routing!

The egger system goes one step further technically compared to conventional surface systems: With egger, the fluid is guided in the tubes in parallel and not serially (serpentine). This system is named after its inventor Tichelmann system.

This means that if the water has to travel 13 meters per square meter for the same surface area with conventional underfloor heating systems, it only travels 2 meters with the egger system.

This offers several advantages at once:

  • Boilers, heat pumps, etc. must produce lower initial temperatures, since the temperature loss is much lower at 2 meters than at 13 meters. Classic underfloor heating need 30-40 degrees Celsius. The egger system requires only 25-30 degrees Celsius. This difference significantly reduces energy costs.
  • Lower load for floors, walls and ceilings: Since the temperature loss between the flow and return is much lower, it does not require surface material specially designed for the load of classic floor heating, wall heating or ceiling heating. This is because the egger system only uses temperatures that these surfaces assume in summer even without a heating system.
  • No undulating temperature differences: With classic underfloor heating systems, the pipes can only be laid at close intervals with great effort (material costs and material stress due to bending). For this reason, about 10-20 cm distance is the rule. This leads to a “warm-cold-cold” feeling on the floor. The egger registers are installed without material stress (no bending thanks to parallel system) with 8 cm spacing as standard. This makes the surfaces feel evenly warm.

Reason 4: The egger system can be attached to almost any surface!

In general, the rule is: the larger the heated area, the lower the energy consumption!

The egger system is manufactured so that it can be attached to almost any surface in the house. This allows you to significantly reduce energy consumption. The investment costs also pay for themselves after just a few years due to the lower energy costs.

Example: Comparison of 2 rooms with different heating or cooling surfaces

In the 1st room is installed floor temperature control. In the 2nd room, in addition to the floor temperature control, a wall temperature control and a ceiling temperature control are installed. The comparison shows that the 2nd room operates with significantly less energy consumption to get to the desired indoor climate.

Conclusion: The egger system combines many cost advantages!

With the egger system you have a huge cost lever in one fell swoop. The reason for this is the various advantages of the system.

With the egger system, you can expect a surface system that can heat and cool in one. At the same time, it saves costs because it is a low-temperature system and inherently manages with low system temperatures. The special pipe routing allows you to heat even more efficiently, since the flow temperature is much lower due to the small spread.

You have it in your hand!

Last but not least, you can decide for yourself how large an area you want to install the surface system. The more surface you temper on the floor, walls and ceiling, the more your energy consumption decreases.
