Can you hang pictures with a wall heater? Is it allowed to put furniture on the wall with wall heating? What heat source do you need? Have you ever asked yourself these questions in connection with the egger system? Then you will find the answers here…

Can you hang pictures with an egger wall heater?

The question is quite easy to answer: yes, of course you can hang pictures. If you are ever unsure of how and where the heating elements run, we will be happy to help.

Of course, you should not just drill into the heating elements, but to find their position is not difficult at all. Either we will help you with a wall scanner or our staff will show you some other free tips and tricks on how to easily find the exact location of the pipes.

Are you allowed to put furniture against the wall with panel heating?

Yes, of course you may. It is true that the opposite surface to the wall heater is the most illuminated and you may be adjusting something. However, you won’t break your feel-good climate with it.

The surfaces on the floor and/or ceiling, as well as the rest of the wall surfaces are sure to create a great indoor climate.

What heat source does the egger system require?

How you generate your heat is not important to the egger system. Our floor heaters, wall heaters, ceiling heaters and coolers work with any heat source.

No matter whether gas, oil, heat pump, etc. – the basic material from which the energy is obtained is irrelevant for our system. However, since our system consumes very little energy, this makes any alternative, environmentally friendly and inexpensive energy source particularly interesting.

How quickly does it get warm in the apartment/house?

We always say our system is literally as fast as “turning on a light,” even though the speed of light is, of course, an exaggeration. But in comparison with classic radiators or conventional floor heating it seems.

Let’s take as an example a completely cooled down one-family house. With optimal egger temperature control, this is comfortably warmed up again in 15 to 60 minutes. A classic underfloor heating system needs about 4 to 6 hours for this, and with radiators it can even take 2 to 3 days.

Regarding our systems in detail, we can say: wall and ceiling elements react very quickly, because the elements are located directly under the surface and the surfaces serve as radiant heating. egger underfloor heating is somewhat more sluggish compared to walls and ceilings, because the entire screed must first be heated.

How to cool with the egger system?

Cooling is the great advantage of our heating system in contrast to all other heating systems. In terms of cooling, however, the egger system is also far superior to all air conditioning systems.

Firstly, this is due to the fact that we cool the surfaces (wall, ceiling, floor) and do not blow cold, unhealthy air loudly into a room. Second, it’s because we make cooling possible with virtually no energy costs.

Without energy, how can that work? It’s simple: in our cooling system we install the same amount of elements as in the living spaces in cooler locations (e.g. underground). There, in the summer, the water inside is cooled. If it gets too warm in the living rooms, we simply exchange the warm water from the living rooms with the cool water from the basement.

By the way, heat pumps are also suitable for cooling water. However, power (i.e. energy) is then required for this as normal.
