With each passing year, your heater gets older and loses efficiency. In addition, more and more powerful models are coming onto the market. Quite quickly, the question arises whether you should modernize your heating system. In this post, we’ll give you four burning reasons to include in your modernization considerations.
#Reason 1: You save money!
Up to 70% of heating costs can be saved in modernization projects (e.g. radiators in uninsulated old buildings are replaced with panel heating ). New heating systems adjust their output to the individual heating needs of the occupants and consume much less energy than their old predecessors.
Even if your old heater is still running reliably, it’s usually not economical despite regular maintenance.
The new, efficient heating systems are no more expensive to purchase than the models that came before them. However, they consume much less energy. The acquisition costs are therefore amortized in many cases after only 8-10 years.

With a new heating system, you can not only optimize your rental income, but also increase the attractiveness for potential tenants. In view of rising energy prices, tenants look very closely at utility costs when choosing an apartment or house.

The Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) alone has already stipulated a replacement obligation since 2014. Boilers older than 30 years must be replaced.

Less energy consumption = less environmental impact

Ideally, you should inform yourself in advance about the current possibilities of a modernization and then let experts explain to you what such a step looks like.
The heating system consists of the heat generator, the piping and the radiators or panel heaters.
Even if the old system still works, you should definitely consider modernizing it. Sometimes the replacement of a single element is enough, however, sometimes the heating system must be completely modernized.
From an economic point of view, a modern plant makes itself positively felt within a short time. Likewise, you reduce your environmental footprint and increase your property value. And the most important thing of all – you promote your health and the health of those around you.
